Wauwatosa, WI – In an effort to appeal to the environmentally conscious crowd, small engine manufacturer Briggs & Stratton has announced the release of their latest product – a diesel jump starter for electric vehicles (EVs).

The new product, named the GreenStart 8000, promises to provide a reliable power source for stranded EV drivers without compromising the environment. “We understand the concerns of electric vehicle owners who worry about running out of juice and being stranded,” said Briggs & Stratton spokesperson, Kelly Green. “The GreenStart 3000 is the perfect solution. The GreenStart 3000 has already received some early criticism, with some EV advocates questioning the environmental benefits of a diesel-powered jump starter. “It’s like putting a band-aid on a broken leg,” said EV enthusiast, Mark Sparks. “We should be focusing on building out more charging infrastructure, not relying on outdated technology.”
