In a bold move that is sure to perk up many in the landscaping and construction industries, Greenworks Tools announced its latest productโthe Beanworks 60V jobsite coffee machine.
The new device runs off any of Greenworksโ 60V lithium-ion batteries. It promises to deliver a piping hot cup of coffee to construction workers on the jobsite. โWe know that construction workers need their caffeine fix to stay alert and focused,โ said Greenworks spokesperson, Joe Green. โThe Beanworks 60V coffee maker ensures they always have a fresh cup of coffee on hand.โ
The coffee machine can brew up to 12 cups of coffee at a time. It also includes a durable stainless steel cup to withstand the rigors of the jobsite. โWe wanted to create a product that was tough enough to handle the demands of the daily grind,โ said Green. โAnd we think the Beanworks 60V coffee machine fits the bill perfectly.โ
The cordless Beanworks 60V brewer has already received some early criticism, however. Some experts question the necessity of a coffee machine on a jobsite. โI mean, you could just bring a thermos from home,โ said construction worker, Bill Hammer. โIt seems a bit overkill.โ
Despite the skepticism, Greenworks remains optimistic about the Beanworks 60Vโs potential. โWe think itโs going to be a real game-changer for the industry,โ said Green. โWho knows, one day every construction site could let you brew coffee using the same batteries that power your tools.โ
The coffee machine is set to hit stores later this year, with a suggested retail price of $299.99. Whether it will catch on with construction workers remains to be seen. One thing is for sureโGreenworks is certainly brewing up some excitement with their latest invention.
