The new Makita Variable Temperature Heat Gun is making its way to retailers with a wide range of temperature settings and two air flow speeds.

The big deal with the Makita Variable Temperature Heat Gun is its temperature range and multiple airflow settings. Using the variable speed dial on the back of the tool, you can set your temperature between 122º and 1022º F to cover a wide variety of applications.

The work needs vary by more than just the temperature, so Makita gives you a 14 CFM high setting and a 7 CFM low setting on the back of the handle for more delicate work. As far as corded heat guns are concerned, you get a lot of flexibility.
