Senco Releases First Full Round Head Cordless Framing Nailer
Senco has announced that coming later this month, theyโll release their first full round head cordless framing nailer. The Senco F-35FRHXP Framing Nailer joins the already-robust line of nailers, with this cordless model utilizing the proprietary Fusion technology to drive up to 3-1/2 full round head, 20ยฐ plastic collated nails.
What is Fusion Technology?
Senco Fusion nailers feature a cordless/pneumatic technology that pressurizes a sealed compressed air cylinder. It lets these battery-powered nailers deliver the speed, feel, and performance of a true pneumatic nailer. It can also handle driving nails fully into the hardest substrates, like LVL. We prefer this technology over the use of a flywheel.
Unlike a flywheel-based nailer, with the Senco F-35FRHXP cordless framing nailer, you wonโt have to wait on the tool to ramp up before or between shots. The brushless motor compresses the cylinder, pre-readying the tool for every shot. This opens the nailer up for consistent bump firing performance. And, because you donโt have to contend with fuel cells, the Fusion-powered nailer wonโt break the bank or produce fumes.

Sencoโs Fusion technology isnโt unique to just the F-35FRHXP. Itโs present on other Senco battery-powered nailers. Most recently, it appeared on the Senco F-35XP. That โversionโ fires 34ยฐ clipped-head, paper tape-collated framing nails.

The Senco F-35FRHXP features a 20ยบ magazine that can hold up to 35 nails at a time. It fires nails from 2โณ to 3-1/2โณ long and .113โณ to .131โณ in diameter.
Like the Senco F-35XP, this nailer can drive up to 600 nails on a single charge of a 3.0Ah Li-ion battery.
Last year, we launched the F-35XP to a great deal of enthusiasm. However, users of plastic collated nails quickly let us know they wanted a full round head version that would work with their preferred fasteners. The F-35FRHXP is the answer to that request and the first expansion of SENCOโs cordless framing nailer line that provides more options to meet our customersโ needs.
