These two new lasers from Hilti use what the company calls โAlways on Pulse Powerโ technology. The Hilti PM 2-L Line Laser and Hilti PM 2-P Plumb Laser are both small โpocket sizeโ models designed for use in tight spots. Each feature ample amounts of rubber overmold to protect them during a fall. The PM 2-L can put out a horizontal and vertical line and has a large fan angle perfect for leveling anything from a junction box to a drop ceiling. The PM 2-P Plumb Laser features integrated magnets that let you attach it to drywall tracks when transferring points from the floor to the ceiling, or aligning windows, doors or steel elements.
Theyโre both pretty cool additions to their line and we should start seeing them show up in the field as contractors and tradesmen pick up these cool new devices. Hiltiโs become a lot more tradesman โfriendlyโ in the past month, even revamping its website to finally include retail pricing for their products and making their tools much easier to research.
