Clint DeBoer updated hisย deck withย Deckorators Vista Composite Decking and used the standard #10 2-3/4โณ Cap-Tor xd deck screw.ย The results were excellent and we expect the same from the smaller model.

The new 2โณ Starborn Cap-Tor xd Deck Screw, just like longer standard deckย sizes, provides a clean, smooth, and uniform finish in PVC and composite capstock decking. Theyย work equally as well in traditional composites. The color matched screws for PVC and composite decking are approved for use with ACQ treated lumber.
All theย Starborn Cap-Tor xd screws feature extra deep star drive recesses, undercut heads, tri-lobular shanks, Type 17 auger tips, and are available with either a color matched, epoxy-based polymer resin coating or in color matched Headcote stainless steelย (both Grades 305 and 316).ย Cap-Tor xd screws are also available collated for use with the Starborn Muro Ultra Driver.
