The latest Bosch 18V Bluetooth LED Floodlight (model Bosch GLI18V-1900 C) has some pretty impressive features and performance. It also has a brother in the Bosch 18V LED Floodlight (model Bosch GLI18V-1900. The only difference between the two is Bluetooth connectivity that comes with a $20 premium.
The new lights boast 1900 lumens broadcast in a flood pattern on high and 1000 lumens on low with a single LED chip. Theyโre powered by any Bosch 18V battery, including the new Core18V pack. With a 6.0 amp hour battery, you can expect 10 hours of runtime on low and 5 hours on high.
There are five setup positions and 120 degrees of tilt to cover a variety of lighting situations. If you go with the Bluetooth model, youโll be able to control the power of your Bosch 18V Bluetooth LED Floodlight. If you have multiple of the Bluetooth enabled lights, you can control them as a group with the app.
It looks like Bosch has done pretty well with the design of their new lighting solution. 1900 lumens exceeds one of my favorite flood lights โ the Ryobi Hybrid LED Work Light. Bosch takes it a step further with solid build quality and a Bluetooth control option. Iโd like to see a hybrid version of this light come out for the next generation. For now, current Bosch cordless tool users should jump all over this one.
